Thank you for thinking about having your wedding at St Andrew’s. It is a lovely place to get married, and we hope and pray that you will have a joyful day.

Some notes to answer the questions that you might have can be read here. And here are edited highlights of a wedding at St Andrew's - you can tell it is Covid-era from the masks.

There is a really good website called Your Church Wedding that answers lots of questions about weddings in the Church of England.

The church has engaged with the Living in Love & Faith process and reiterates its welcome and inclusion of everyone, including LGBT people. The Church Council decided in 2022 that it would like to offer services of blessing for those same sex couples who are already in civil partnerships or married, and weddings for same sex couples, as soon as this is allowed by the Church of England. We cannot yet do so, but in the meantime we would be glad to offer the Prayers of Love & Faith developed by the Church of England over recent years.
