St Andrew’s Children’s Society Partnership
The Children’s Society (TCS) is a national charity working to support the country’s most vulnerable children and young people.
In 2016 we became the first church in the UK to enter into a partnership with TCS. During the year, we -
pray for TCS
hold fund-raising events to support their work
publicise their campaigns
invite guest speakers to join us in our church services
Why this work is needed
Right now in Britain there are children and young people who feel scared, unloved and unable to cope. The Children’s Society works with them, step by step, for as long as it takes.
The Children’s Society worked with more than 11,000 vulnerable children and young people last year; ongoing campaign work continues to influence and shape national policy changes which will improve the lives of more than half-a-million children.
Our Church and supporters of The Children’s Society around the country fund activities and join campaigns like the one for vulnerable teenagers above to show children and young people we are on their side. Watch the short video below to find out more:
