Giving in 2024
It's that time of year again when we say a great big 'thank you!' to all those who give so generously to St Andrew's to keep the church and its ministry going. Without you, the gospel simply would not be proclaimed in Stapleford. Praise God for all that you give and do!
And we also encourage all those who come to St Andrew's to review their giving. All Christians should be generous with their money (as well as with their time and their abilities), and giving should be proportionate to means. We recognise that means that there will be times when all family expenditure, including giving, is reined in. But at other times we can and should give more. So it is good to review what we give each year.
Here is this year's little booklet on giving.
And this year we are also encouraging people to think about legacy giving. Can you leave any money to St Andrew's in your will? If you leave it to the church it can, in general terms, be used for any aspect of our ministry (which includes all the work we do in the community such as Little Fishes and JOY). If you just want to leave money to be put towards the maintenance of the building you can say so in your will and that wish would be binding on us, or you can leave money to the Friends of St Andrew's, which likewise would restrict the legacy to be used on the building.
