Giving

Best gift is you - cropped

Would you like to support the ministry and mission of St Andrew's? We cannot run as a church unless we receive gifts to do so.

Most of all, of course, we like seeing you in our church community - but thank you so much for your financial support! We could not run the church and fulfil our mission without generous offerings of your time, talents and money. We do encourage regular members of the church to contribute to the vision of the church and the activities associated with it.

Sometimes people think that the Church of England pays for its individual churches. In fact, the reverse is true. We pay for ourselves and make a contribution to central and diocesan funds. So we need and are grateful for your financial support.

A useful guide on how much you might give and why inflation is important is here, and another useful giving guide is here

You can give in several different ways:

  1. Regular giving by the Parish Giving Scheme. If you can do this it is really helpful for our budgeting. Information about the scheme is here.
